Justice League Task Force (video Game)
''Justice League Task Force'' is a competitive fighting game for the Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995. The Genesis version was developed by Condor (later known as Blizzard North) and the Super NES version was by Blizzard Entertainment. It involves characters from DC Comics' Justice League, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, The Flash, and Aquaman. Additional Justice League members Martian Manhunter and Fire, as well as the supervillain Shrapnel, were also planned to appear but had to be omitted due to memory limitations. Story Darkseid attacks the planet Earth, destroying a military base in the process. The player takes control of a member of the Justice League of their choosing, and tracks down the other members for information, only to be attacked by them. Blizzard North
Blizzard North (formerly known as Condor) was an American video game development studio based in San Mateo, California. The studio was the San Francisco Bay Area, Bay Area division of Blizzard Entertainment, and it was known for the Diablo (series), ''Diablo'' series. The company was originally based in Redwood City, California, always serving as the northern counterpart to Blizzard Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment's main development studio in Irvine, California. In 2005, Blizzard North was closed to reallocate its staff to the development of World of Warcraft, ''World of Warcraft''. Created by Mort Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' No. 73 on September 19, 1941 (cover dated November 1941), the same issue that debuted Aquaman.
