Jurgita Jurkutė
Jurgita Jurkutė (born April 23, 1985) is a Lithuanians, Lithuanian actress and beauty pageant titleholder who is the winner of Miss Lithuania, Miss Lithuania 2007 pageant. Biography Jurgita was student of Vilnius University for the Bachelor of Arts on social work. 2012 she graduated bachelor studies at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius. Among her hobbies is association football, football. She also works as a model, and has worked in Japan, Italy, Spain, Greece and Germany. Jurgita believes that her current Miss Lithuania title is an opportunity for her to help others, especially children without families - "one day with our care they will find their true homes". Jurgita represented Lithuania in Miss World 2007 contest in Sanya, China. She landed the lead role in the TV series ''Moterys meluoja geriau'' ("Women lie better") in 2008. Miss Lithuania () is a national Beauty pageant in Lithuania. History Miss Lithuania began in 1993 and debuted at the Miss World competition. The pageant traditionally broadcast live on "Lietuvos rytas TV". Since 2012, the Miss Lithuania Organization sends the second title to the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Lithuania pageant organizes by Benas Gudelis in Vilnius, Lithuania. Due to a lack of sponsorship, the contest was cancelled in 2015 and not held since, nor any representatives sent to international pageants. ''Moterys meluoja geriau'' (Women Lie Better) is a Lithuanian TV series produced by TV3. It is the most watched Lithuanian drama of all time. The first season is based on a 2002 novel by Daiva Vaitkevičiūtė and follows four young women and their love interests. In later seasons, the series doesn't concentrate on them as much.
