Don Juan Manuel Sánchez y Gutiérrez de Castro, ''jure uxoris'' Duke of Almodóvar del Río, Grandee of Spain (15 December 1850 in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain – 23 June 1906 in Madrid, Spain) was a Spanish noble and politician who served three times as Minister of State. Along with Juan Pérez-Caballero y Ferrer, he was the representative of Spain in the Algeciras Conference of 1906. Grandees of Spain () are the highest-ranking members of the Spanish nobility. They comprise nobles who hold the most important historical landed titles in Spain or its Spanish Empire, former colonies. Many such hereditary titles are held by extended family, heads of families, having been acquired via strategic marriages between landed families. Buenaventura de Abarzuza y Ferrer (c. 1843–1910) was a Spanish diplomat born in Havana in Cuba. He was an ambassador in London in 1873 and served as Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Spain), Minister of State between 1902 and 1903. He died on 13 April 1910.
