Juan Carlos Touriño Cancela (14 July 1944 – 7 March 2017) was a professional footballer who played as a defender. After starting his career in Argentina, he won two La Liga titles and two Spanish Cups with Real Madrid, and made one appearance for the Spain national team. Parque Patricios
Parque Patricios is a ''barrio'' located on the southern side of Buenos Aires, Argentina belonging to the fourth ''comuna''. Parque Patricios underwent a transformation during the beginning of the 1900s. The government moved the main slaughterhouse to Mataderos, removed refuse piles and the notorious trash incinerators ("la quema") and the cemetery used during the 1871 yellow fever epidemic, now Parque Ameghino. Parks, a zoo and hospitals were put in their place. Parque Patricios received its name from the park of the same name, designed by Carlos Thays, the French architect who designed many of the most distinctive parks in the north of the city including the Botanical Garden and Bosques de Palermo. This barrio features many hospitals which treat patients from all parts of Argentina, as well as the notorious former Caseros Prison. The 1971 European Cup Winners' Cup Final was a football match contested by Chelsea of England and Real Madrid of Spain. It was the final match of the 1970–71 competition and the 11th European Cup Winners' Cup final in all. Route to the final Match review The Spanish club were challenging for their seventh European trophy overall (all six previous were European Cups), a record among European clubs at the time, while the West Londoners were seeking their first ever European honour. The final took place on 19 May 1971 and was staged at Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, Greece, which was filled to capacity by traveling fans of both clubs as well as local football aficionados. Miguel Muñoz
Miguel Muñoz Mozún (19 January 1922 – 16 July 1990) was a Spanish football player and manager. A midfielder, he spent the majority of his career at Real Madrid before going on to coach the club, where he is widely considered one of the most successful and greatest managers in football history, leading the team to two European Cup victories and nine La Liga titles (winning seven major titles in both major competitions combined as a player). Muñoz later had a six-year coaching spell with the Spain national team, and led them to the final of Euro 1984. Playing career Born in Madrid, Muñoz played for various junior teams in the area, but initially failed to attract the attention of Real Madrid, going on to subsequently represent Logroñés, Racing Santander and Celta. Juan José Pizzuti (9 May 1927 – 24 January 2020) was an Argentine football player and manager. A striker, he enjoyed his most notable successes as player and manager with Racing Club de Avellaneda. Pizzuti was born in the Barracas neighbourhood of Buenos Aires and joined the Banfield youth team at the age of 14. Playing career Pizzuti made his breakthrough into the Banfield first team in 1947 at the age of 19. He became the top scorer in the Argentine league in 1949, this brought him to the attention of several major clubs and he eventually signed for River Plate in 1951. In 1952, after only one season with River, Pizzuti left to join Racing Club de Avellaneda, he became the topscorer in the Argentine league for a second time in 1953.
