Juan Carlos Mariño
Juan Carlos Mariño Márquez (born 2 January 1982) is a Peruvian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He is head coach of Deportivo Llacuabamba's reserve team. International career Mariño made 22 appearances for the Peru national team. He made his debut as a substitute during his first Peru cap in the opening match vs Uruguay in the first round of the Copa America 2007, scoring a goal. Mariño scored his second international goal against Colombia on 14 June 2008. He also played for Hércules in Spain. Coaching career On 21 January 2018, Mariño was appointed head coach of Cantolao's reserve team and technical assistant for the first team. On 28 October 2018, he was promoted to joint-head coach for the clubs first team alongside Jorge Araujo for the rest of 2018. Club Juan Aurich S. A., commonly known as Juan Aurich, is a Peru, Peruvian association football, football club based in Chiclayo. 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONMEBOL)
The South American zone of 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification saw ten teams competing for places in the finals in South Africa. The format is identical to that used for the previous three World Cup qualification tournaments held by CONMEBOL. Matches were scheduled so that there were always two games within a week, which was aimed at minimizing player travel time, particularly for players who were based in Europe. The top four teams in the final standings qualified automatically for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The fifth-placed team met the fourth-placed team from the CONCACAF qualifying tournament in a two-legged play-off for a place at the World Cup. 2007 Copa América
The 2007 Campeonato Sudamericano Copa América, known simply as the 2007 Copa América or 2007 Copa América Venezuela, was the 42nd edition of the Copa América, the South-American championship for international association football teams. The competition was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body, and was held between 26 June and 15 July in Venezuela, which hosted the tournament for the first time.
