Juan Carlos Amorós
Juan Carlos Amorós López (born 3 June 1984) is a Spanish Manager (association football), football manager who is currently the head coach of Gotham FC of the American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). He previously managed NWSL club Houston Dash, Spanish club Real Betis Féminas, Real Betis, and English club Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women, Tottenham Hotspur. Managerial career Tottenham Hotspur Amorós began his coaching career at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women in 2011, as co-manager with Karen Hills (footballer), Karen Hills. Following the club's promotion to the top-flight Women's Super League after the 2018–19 FA WSL, 2018–19 season, Hills and Amorós signed two-year deals to continue in their roles. However, they were both fired seven matches into the 2019–20 FA WSL, 2019–20 season and replaced with England women's national football team assistant Rehanne Skinner. The CONCACAF W Champions Cup is an annual continental women's football club competition organized by CONCACAF that determines the club champion for the region encompassing North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The National Women's Soccer League playoffs (or NWSL playoffs) are a single-elimination tournament among eight teams in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) of the United States. The final round of the playoffs is the NWSL Championship. Since playoff games cannot end in draws, they are broken by two consecutive 15-minute extra time periods, followed by penalty shoot-outs of best-of-five rounds with additional rounds as required. Chicago Stars Football Club is an American professional soccer team based in the Chicago metropolitan area that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three.
