Joël Bouchard
Joël Bouchard (born January 23, 1974) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL). He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with eight teams for parts of 11 seasons between 1994 and 2008. Playing career As a youth, Bouchard played in the 1988 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Montreal. Bouchard was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the sixth round of the 1992 NHL entry draft with the 129th overall pick. Collectively, he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Flames, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, Phoenix Coyotes, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders, as well as in the American Hockey League (AHL) for the Hamilton Bulldogs. Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL)
The Hamilton Bulldogs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Hamilton, Ontario, at FirstOntario Centre (formerly known as Copps Coliseum), nicknamed 'The Dog Pound'. They were the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens as two separate franchises over 19 seasons of continuous participation in the AHL. Minor Ice Hockey
Minor ice hockey or minor hockey is an umbrella term for amateur ice hockey which is played below the junior age level. Players are classified by age, with each age group playing in its own league. The rules, especially as it relates to body contact, vary from class to class. In North America, the rules are governed by the national bodies, Hockey Canada and USA Hockey, while local hockey associations administer players and leagues for their region. The Laval Rocket () are a professional ice hockey team based in Laval, Quebec. The 2017–18 QMJHL season was the 49th season of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The regular season began on September 21, 2017, and ended on March 18, 2018. The playoffs started March 22, 2018, and ended on May 13. Blainville-Boisbriand Armada
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada is a Canadian junior ice hockey team of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. The team is based in Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada, and plays its home games at the Centre d'Excellence Sports Rousseau. History The Armada started as the St. John's Fog Devils when Newfoundland was granted an expansion franchise. The team was sold to a group intending to move it to Montreal for the 2008–09 season where it became the Montreal Junior Hockey Club.
