João Vale E Azevedo
João António de Araújo Vale e Azevedo (born 17 May 1957) is a Portuguese former lawyer who was the 31st president of sports club S.L. Benfica. In relation to his three-year club presidency, he was convicted of embezzlement, document forgery, breach of trust, and money laundering. Presidency of Benfica On 31 October 1997, Vale e Azevedo was elected the 31st president of Portuguese sports club S.L. Benfica, succeeding Manuel Damásio. Vale e Azevedo won the club elections with 51.5% of 19,824 votes, defeating Luís Tadeu and Abílio Rodrigues. Soon after, he signed Graeme Souness as coach of the football team. A year and a half later, Souness left the club and stated: "Vale e Azevedo lies when he looks in the eyes. Be careful, this man is dangerous". Belgravia () is a district in Central London, covering parts of the areas of the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. National Republican Guard (Portugal)
The National Republican Guard () or GNR is the national gendarmerie force of Portugal. Members of the GNR are military personnel, subject to military law and organisation, unlike the agents of the civilian Polícia de Segurança Pública, Public Security Police (PSP). The GNR is responsible for the preventive police and highway patrol in 94% of Portuguese territory. At national level, GNR also has duties of customs enforcement, coastal control, nature protection, search and rescue operations and state ceremonial guards of honor. Futebol Clube de Alverca is a Portuguese football club based in Alverca do Ribatejo, Vila Franca de Xira. It currently plays in the Liga Portugal 2. History F.C. Alverca was founded on 1 September 1939. Sergei Ivanovich Ovchinnikov ( rus, Серге́й Ива́нович Овчи́нников, p=sʲɪrˈɡʲej ɪˈvanəvʲɪtɕ ɐfˈtɕinʲːɪkəf; born 10 November 1970) is a former association football goalkeeper. Nicknamed "The Boss" for his commanding presence inside the box, he most notably played for Lokomotiv Moscow, Benfica, Porto and the Russian national team. Almoçageme
Almoçageme (pronounced: Al-mu-sa-jè-mê) is a village on the Portuguese municipality of Sintra and in the Freguesia of Colares. The name Almoçageme is obviously Arab in origin – the Iberian peninsula is packed with Muslim toponyms that are a legacy of the five hundred years the Moors stayed over. One possible root is from ''al-masjid'' or ''al-mesijide'', meaning “the mosque” – although there are no testimonies of one having been around. Local festivities honoring Nossa Senhora da Graça take place on the first Sunday of October and last eight days. Manuel Lino Rodrigues Vilarinho (born 23 June 1948) is a Portuguese businessman who was the 32nd president of sports club S.L. Benfica. Benfica Born in Lisbon, Vilarinho was elected president of Benfica on 27 October 2000 with 62% of the votes, ousting the incumbent chairman João Vale e Azevedo in the second most contested election in the history of Benfica.
