João Queirós
João Ricardo Pereira Queirós (born 22 April 1998) is a Portuguese professional Association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Armenian Premier League club FC Ararat-Armenia. Club career Born in Barroselas, Viana do Castelo, Queirós played youth football for a host of clubs, joining S.C. Braga at the age of 16. On 21 May 2017, in the last day of 2016–17 LigaPro, the season and while still a junior, he made his senior debut with S.C. Braga B, the reserves, featuring the full 90 minutes in a 1–1 home draw against Sporting CP B in the Liga Portugal 2, Segunda Liga. On 18 July 2017, Queirós signed a five-year contract with Bundesliga team 1. FC Köln. During his tenure in Germany, however, he was solely associated to the 1. FC Köln II, reserve side. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
