Sucre Municipality is one of the 21 municipalities (municipios) that makes up the Venezuelan state of Miranda and one of five the municipalities that make up the Metropolitan District of Caracas. José Vicente Rangel Vale (10 July 1929 – 18 December 2020) was a Venezuelan politician. He ran for president three times in the 1970s and 1980s and later supported Hugo Chávez.
