José Romero Y Fernández De Landa
José Romero y Fernández de Landa (1735–1807), better known as Romero Landa was a Spanish military officer who was the Spanish Navy's first official naval engineer and Naval architecture, ship designer. He designed several two-and Three-decker, three-deck Ship of the line, ships of the line in the late 18th and early 19th centuries which fought at the Battle of Cape St. Vincent (1780), Battle of Cape St Vincent and the Battle of Trafalgar. He is also notable as the writer of ''Reglamento de maderas necesarias para la fábrica de los baxeles del Rey'' (''Rules for the wood necessary for building the King's ships''), published in 1784, and which specified the number and dimensions of the hulls, equipment, masts and rigging for ships of 100, 74, 64 and 34 guns. José Santos "Pepe" Romero (born 3 November 1951, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football manager and former midfielder. Playing career Club career Romero started his career at All Boys in the Primera B in 1967 when he was 16 years old. In 1972, they won 11 consecutive games (which remains a record for lower categories), obtaining 29/30 points. Therefore, on 14 October 1972, All Boys became Primera B champion defeating Excursionistas 1–0. He played the Primera División tournament with All Boys until 1976. In 1976, he moved to Temperley. In 1981, Romero returned to All Boys where he retired as a player. Managerial career Romero embarked on his managerial career in 1981 at the lower divisions in All Boys. Manager career Born in La Roda de Andalucía, Seville, Andalusia, Romero made his managerial debuts with Córdoba CF B, after being linked with the club for more than 20 years. Jose Michael Romero (born 1 August 1971 in Chile), is a former Australian rules footballer. Romero, who was recruited from Jacana, played in the VFL/AFL for both the North Melbourne FC and Western Bulldogs. Romero's family immigrated to Australia from Chile when he was aged 7. His father is a distant cousin of St Oscar Romero of El Salvador. Debuting in 1987 with the Kangaroos, Romero played 109 games for the club before moving to the Western Bulldogs, debuting in 1995. José Luis Romero (1967 – around 30 December 2009), was a Mexican radio journalist for Línea Directa Radio and Radio Sistema del Noroeste in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, and he was known for his reporting about drug trafficking. Romero was a journalist for roughly 20 years and had been with Línea Directa for ten years. He had been missing for two weeks until his body was found tortured and brutally murdered. Romero's murder, along with other Mexican journalists who have been killed during their job, was interpreted by CNN as intimidation toward journalists. Personal José Luis Romero was born around 1967. José Romero was a Spanish bullfighter who performed during the late 18th and early 19th century. When bullfighting was prohibited in 1804 he was obliged to retire. José Manuel Romero Moreno (Madrid, 11 June 1940) is a Spanish lawyer and university professor. Family and education He is the son of stockbroker and musicologist Carlos Romero de Lecea and Pilar Moreno Uribe and grandson of Jose Moreno Osorio, count of Fontao and civil engineer.
