José Luis López (Mexican Footballer)
José Luis López Monroy (born 19 October 1979 in Mexico City) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career He played for Club Necaxa, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, as a midfielder (usually on the right flank). He joined the Pumas youth system when he was 13 years old and worked his way through the ranks before moving to Puebla F.C. and making his Primera Division de Mexico debut for them. After a brief period with ''La Franja'' he returned to Pumas and made his first appearance for them on 6 January 2001 against Estudiantes Tecos. Lopez has also played for Club Irapuato in the Primera A. In February 2024, López received the Medal of Sporting Merit from the Congress of Mexico City alongside baseball players Randy Arozarena and Iván Terrazas. Club Irapuato
Club Deportivo Irapuato is a Mexican professional football club based in Irapuato, Guanajuato, that currently competes in Liga Premier, the third level division of Mexican football. It was the first football club founded in Guanajuato by Pedro Parnu and Diego Mosqueda in 1911. Throughout its history the club was also named as Real Irapuato (2002–2004), Club Irapuato Por Siempre (2008–2013) and Club Atlético Irapuato (2019–2020). 2010–11 Liga De Ascenso Season
The 2010–11 Ascenso MX season is the second season of the Liga de Ascenso, the second-level football league of Mexico. It consists of two separate tournaments, the Apertura and the Clausura. The winners of both tournaments will meet in a playoff to determine the team being promoted to the 2011–12 Primera Division de Mexico season. The Apertura tournament began on July, 16th 2010 with the first matches of the classification phase and ended on December, 4th 2010 with the Apertura Liguilla final. The final was won by Tijuana, who defeated Veracruz 3–0 on aggregate. The Clausura tournament began on January, 7th 2011 and ended on May, 14th 2011. The final was won by Irapuato, who defeated Tijuana. The following week, Apertura champion Tijuana defeated Clausura champion Irapuato in a playoff to determine the team promoted to the 2011–12 Liga MX season. Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Iván Terrazas
Iván Martín Terrazas Magaña (born 11 November 1983) is a Mexican former professional baseball outfielder. After playing in the Atlanta Braves minor league system for six years, Terrazas spent sixteen seasons in the Mexican League (LMB), fourteen of them with the Diablos Rojos del México, where he retired after playing a single game in 2022. Terrazas represented Mexico, winning the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. Early life Terrazas was born on 11 November 1982 in Mexico City.
