Iván Terrazas
Iván Martín Terrazas Magaña (born 11 November 1983) is a Mexican former professional baseball outfielder. After playing in the Atlanta Braves minor league system for six years, Terrazas spent sixteen seasons in the Mexican League (LMB), fourteen of them with the Diablos Rojos del México, where he retired after playing a single game in 2022. Terrazas represented Mexico, winning the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games. Early life Terrazas was born on 11 November 1982 in Mexico City. His father, Martín Terrazas, played professional baseball in the Mexican League during eight seasons (from 1973 to 1980) as a catcher, spending most of his career with the Tigres de México. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. The Tigres de Quintana Roo (English: Quintana Roo Tigers) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The team is part of the Southern Division (). The 2022 Mexican League season was the 97th season in the history of the Mexican League. It was contested by 18 teams, evenly divided in North and South zones. The Serie del Rey () is the annual championship series of the Mexican Baseball League (LMB), held since . The champions from the league's two divisions, the North and South Zones, compete in a best-of-seven series, with the winner being awarded the Copa de Zaachila. Originally known simply as the Serie Final, the championship series was renamed in 2012, in reference to baseball being called the king of sports. Before 1970, the league champion was the winner of the most games in a round robin tournament (similar to the National and American Leagues of Major League Baseball before the introduction of the League Championship Series). The Sultanes de Monterrey (English: Monterrey Sultans) are a professional baseball club in the Mexican League (LMB) based in Monterrey, Mexico. Daniel Fernández (baseball)
Daniel Fernández Méndez (born 20 August 1965) is a Mexican professional baseball manager and former outfielder. Fernández played 26 seasons in the Mexican League and spent all of his career, except for one season, playing as center fielder for the Diablos Rojos del México. He holds the Mexican League record for career runs with 1,837. As manager, he won the 2008 Mexican League championship with the Diablos Rojos in his debut season. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are a Minor League Baseball team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs of the National League in Major League Baseball. The Mississippi Braves, or M-Braves as they were referred to locally, were a Minor League Baseball team based in Pearl, Mississippi, a suburb of Jackson, from 2005 to 2024.
