José Gómez Gordoa
José Gómez Gordoa (29 September 1913 – November 2005) was a Mexican lawyer, university professor and diplomat. Gómez Gordoa was born in the city of San Luis Potosí in 1913. He served as the rector of the Escuela Libre de Derecho in 1977 and again in 1979–1984. Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) is a private law school in Mexico City, Mexico. Founded in 1912, it is one of the oldest law schools in Mexico and the oldest private institution focused in teaching law. Since its establishment in 1912, the Escuela has had as its only mission the teaching of law, breeding from the principles of academic freedom, outside of any form of religiosity, or political ideology. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Bolaños (; 12 March 1911 – 15 July 1979) was a Mexican politician and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as the President of Mexico from 1964 to 1970. Previously, he served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies for Puebla's 1st federal electoral district of Puebla, 1st district, a senator of the Senate of the Republic (Mexico), Congress of the Union for Puebla, and Secretariat of the Interior (Mexico), Secretary of the Interior.
