Josip Pečarić
Josip Pečarić (born 2 September 1948) is a Croatian mathematician. He is a professor of mathematics in the Faculty of Textile Technology at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and is a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He has written and co-authored over 1,200 mathematical publications. He has also published a number of works on history and politics that have been described as comprising historical negationism or Holocaust denial. Education Pečarić was born in Kotor, Montenegro (at the time part of Yugoslavia) on 2 September 1948, where he remained to attend elementary and high school. He studied at the University of Belgrade's University of Belgrade Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering for his undergraduate and master's degrees, which he completed respectively in 1972 and 1975. Kotor
Kotor (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Котор, ), historically known as Cattaro (from Italian language, Italian: ), is a town in Coastal Montenegro, Coastal region of Montenegro. Slobodan Praljak
Slobodan Praljak (; 2 January 1945 – 29 November 2017) was a Bosnian Croat general found guilty by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) of committing violations of the laws of war, crimes against humanity, and breaches of the Geneva Conventions during the 1992–1994 Croat–Bosniak War. Praljak voluntarily joined the newly formed Croatian Armed Forces after the outbreak of the Croatian War of Independence in 1991. Before and after the war he was an engineer, a television and theatre director, and a businessman. Praljak was indicted by, and voluntarily surrendered to, the ICTY in 2004. In 2013, he was convicted for war crimes against the Bosniak population during the Croat–Bosniak War alongside five other Bosnian Croat officials, and was sentenced to 20 years in jail (minus the time he had already spent in detention). Mile Budak
Mile Budak (30 August 1889 – 7 June 1945) was a Croatian politician and writer best known as one of the chief ideologists of the Croatian fascist Ustaša movement, which ruled the Independent State of Croatia during World War II in Yugoslavia from 1941 to 1945 and waged a genocidal campaign of extermination against its Roma and Jewish population, and of extermination, expulsion and religious conversion against its Serb population. Lars-Erik Persson (born 24 September 1944) is a Swedish/Norwegian professor in mathematics, known for his works in Fourier analysis, function spaces, inequalities, interpolation theory and related problems connected to convexity and quasi-monotone functions. Persson comes from the small village Svanabyn in Dorotea community, Sweden. He received his PhD degree in mathematics at Umeå University in 1974. In 1975 he was employed as associate professor in mathematics at Luleå University of Technology (LTU), and was appointed full professor in 1994. Since 2019 he is professor emeritus there. Mitrinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Драгослав Митриновић; 23 June 1908 – 2 April 1995) was a Serbian mathematician known for his work in differential equations, functional equations, complex analysis.
