Joshua Evan Christopher (born December 8, 2001) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He is a , shooting guard. Early life Christopher grew up playing basketball with his older brother, Caleb, in elementary school, middle school and his first two years with Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California, as well as on the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) circuit. In his childhood, he often played against older opponents. As a sophomore at Mayfair, Christopher averaged 25.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3.6 assists per game, leading his team to a 21–8 record. 2020 McDonald's All-American Boys Game
The 2020 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an all-star basketball game that was scheduled to be played on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, home of the Houston Rockets. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in the class of 2020. The game would have been the 43rd annual version of the McDonald's All-American Game first played in 1977. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the game was cancelled. The Jordan Brand Classic is a high school all star basketball game played annually in April. The game's rosters feature the best and most highly recruited high school boys and girls in the senior class. In 2015, a girl's game was introduced. The game takes its name from the chief organizer, Jordan Brand, a division of Nike, Inc., Nike named after Michael Jordan. The 22 players are routinely selected from the top 100 players as ranked by numerous scouting services. The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California and is the largest of the ten sections that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).
