Josh Ball
Josh Ball (born May 15, 1998) is an American professional football guard for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played college football at Florida State, Butler Community College, and Marshall. Early life Ball grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia and played football at Stafford Senior High School. As a senior, he was a starter at left tackle, while receiving All-State and All-conference honors. He was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to Florida State University to play college football. College career As a redshirt freshman in 2017, he was named the starter left tackle in the fifth game against Duke University. In American football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is an Lineman (gridiron football), offensive line player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles. Like other offensive line positions, guards are used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. The NFL draft, officially known as the Annual Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the most common source of player recruitment in the National Football League. The 2020 Camellia Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 25, 2020, at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama, with kickoff at 2:30 p.m. EST on ESPN. It was the seventh edition of the Camellia Bowl, and was one of the 2020–21 bowl games concluding the 2020 FBS football season. Buffalo defeated Marshall, 17–10, to claim their second bowl victory in school history. This was first bowl game played on Christmas Day since the 2003 Hawaii Bowl.
