Josef Středula
Josef Středula (born 12 November 1967) is a Czech Republic, Czech trade union activist. He became the chairman of the KOVO trade union in 2005. He left the office in 2014 to become the chairman of the Bohemian-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions. Early life and career Středula was born in Opava in 1967. He studied at Technical High School and then worked at Vítkovice Ironworks. He has been a trade unionist since 1993. Středula affiliated himself with the KOVO Trade Union, and was elected chairman of the union in 2005. He left the office when he 2014 ČMKOS presidential election, was elected chairman of the Bohemian-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions (ČMKOS). The Czech News Agency (), abbreviated to ČTK, is a national public service news agency in the Czech Republic. It provides its services in Czech and English. Danuše Nerudová (née Peslarová; born 4 January 1979) is a Czech economist and university professor. She has been a Member of the European Parliament since June 2024, representing the Mayors and Independents.
