Jorge Enríquez
Jorge Enríquez García (born 8 January 1991) is a former Mexican professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He is an Olympic gold medalist. Club career C.D. Guadalajara Enriquez was born in Mexicali, Baja California, and debuted with Chivas on 5 February 2010 in a match against Pachuca CF, corresponding to week 6 of the Bicentenario tournament. He came on in the 86th minute, replacing Adolfo Bautista. Enríquez scored his first goal in the quarter finals outside the penalty area against Monarcas Morelia. Club León On 6 December 2015, Guadalajara announced Enríquez will go on loan to Club León for six months. Omonia On 14 June 2018, it was reported Enriquez would be transferred to Omonia. Football At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's Tournament
The men's football tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held in London and five other cities in Great Britain from 26 July to 11 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to enter their men's U-23 teams in regional qualifying competitions, from which 15 teams, plus the hosts Great Britain, reached the final tournament. Men's teams were allowed to augment their squads with three players over the age of 23. It was the first men's Olympic football tournament to feature a team representing Great Britain since the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. The competition also marked Uruguay's men's football team's first Olympic appearance since 1928, when it won its second consecutive gold medal. CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The CONCACAF Under-20 Championship is the second longest running international association football event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, CONCACAF, and is the qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The format of the tournament has undergone changes over the years. Copa MX
Copa MX, also known as Copa Corona MX for sponsorship reasons, was an association football competition in Mexico and the domestic cup tournament for clubs at the highest and second levels of Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Copa México (1942–1963, 1970–1997) and also as Copa Presidente (1963–1970), the first season of the professional era was held in 1942–43. The cup tournament was not held in several years (1976–1988, 1992–1994, 1997–2012) and currently the competition has been paused since the 2019–20 edition. The 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup was the 18th FIFA U-20 World Cup. Colombia hosted the tournament between 29 July and 20 August 2011, with matches being played in eight cities. The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games () and commonly known as Guadalajara 2011, were an international multi-sport event held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Mexico. Adolfo Bautista Herrera (born 15 May 1979), also known as "Bofo", is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and centre-forward. Bautista is remembered for his powerful shot, creative ball control, and acrobatic moves, as well as for his extravagant style; especially his colorful hairstyles and unusual squad numbers. Club de Fútbol Pachuca is a Mexican professional football club based in Pachuca, Hidalgo, that competes in Liga MX, the top division of Mexican football.
