Jonathan Mitchell (footballer)
Jonathan Philip Mitchell (born 24 November 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for EFL League Two club Doncaster Rovers. He was previously with Newcastle United as a youth and reserve player, and has also played for Workington, Luton Town, Oxford United, Shrewsbury Town, Macclesfield Town and Northampton Town on loan. Early and personal life Mitchell was born and raised in Hartlepool, and is a Hartlepool United supporter. He attended High Tunstall College of Science, where he captained the rugby team. In September 2021, Mitchell opened High Tunstall's new 3G pitch facility. Club career Mitchell made his debut for Newcastle United's reserve team in January 2011 while still at school. He spent time on loan at Workington during the second half of the 2012–13 season, and returned to the club for a second loan spell in August 2013. Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. Simon Christopher Eastwood (born 26 June 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Oxford United. Eastwood started his career as a youth player with Huddersfield Town. Lee Anderson Grant (born 27 January 1983) is an English football coach and former professional footballer, who is a first-team coach at EFL League One side Ipswich Town. As a player, he was a goalkeeper and began his professional career with Derby County, making his Football League debut in September 2002. Grant spent five seasons with Derby, during which time he went out on loan to Burnley and Oldham Athletic. He joined Sheffield Wednesday in July 2007 and established himself as first-choice goalkeeper, playing in 136 consecutive matches. He moved to Burnley in July 2010, where he made 126 appearances in three seasons, before returning to Derby County in May 2013. Gregg Wylde (born 23 March 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Dumbarton in Scottish League Two.
