Jonathan Adam
Jonathan Robert "Jonny" Adam (born 4 September 1984 in Lochgelly, Fife) is a British racing driver and a factory driver for Aston Martin Racing. He was the champion of the SEAT Cupra Championship in two of its six seasons – winning in 2007 and in 2008. He also won the 2005 Elf Renault Clio Cup. He competed in the British Touring Car Championship in 2009 British Touring Car Championship season, 2009 and currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship, British GT Championship, winning the 2015 British GT season, 2015, 2016 British GT season, 2016, 2018 British GT Championship, 2018 and 2019 British GT Championship, 2019 championships. 2016 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 84th 24 Hours of Le Mans () was a 24-hour automobile endurance racing event held for teams of three drivers each fielding Le Mans Prototype and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance cars from 15 to 19 June 2016 at the Circuit de la Sarthe, close to Le Mans, France before 263,500 spectators. It was the 84th running of the 24 Hour race organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) as well as the third and flagship round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship. A test day was held two weeks prior to the race on 5 June. British Formula Renault Championship referred to one of two Formula Renault championships that were held in the United Kingdom. SEAT Cupra Championship
The SEAT Cupra Championship was a one-make series that ran for six years between 2003 and 2008, the last five of which ran as a support package to the British Touring Car Championship. Originally the prize for winning the championship was a drive for the SEAT works team in the BTCC. From 2005 and onwards this changed to a £100,000 cheque. Throughout the championship's six years, 78 drivers competed. It established itself as one of the main routes into topline Touring Car racing, and drivers went on to do well in either the BTCC or World Touring Car Championship. The 2010 Michelin Ginetta G50 Cup was the third Ginetta G50 Cup. The season began at Thruxton Circuit, Thruxton on 4 April and finished after 28 races over 10 rounds at Brands Hatch on 10 October, supporting rounds of the British Touring Car Championship. Despite scoring 38 fewer points overall than title rival Carl Breeze, it was Dynojet's Frank Wrathall who became champion after a successful season in which he took five overall victories, as well as taking six other class victories in which he was the first championship-registered finisher. Ten points behind on dropped scores was Lee Brookes, Total Control Racing's Breeze, an improvement on his third place championship finish behind Nathan Freke and Wrathall in 2009. The GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, formerly for sponsorship reasons the Blancpain Endurance Series from 2011 to 2015 and Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup from 2016 to 2019, is a sports car racing series developed by SRO Motorsports Group and the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium (RACB) with approval from the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It features grand tourer racing cars modified from production road cars complying with the FIA's GT3 regulations. The series's goal is to be an endurance racing championship for GT3 cars, similar to the FIA World Endurance Championship which were using GTE cars and Le Mans Prototypes (now GT3 and Le Mans Hypercars). The GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup is a sports car racing series organized by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) with the approval of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). Born as the FIA GT Series in 2013, it was sponsored by Blancpain from 2014 to 2019, and was variously branded as the Blancpain Sprint Series in 2014 and 2015, the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup from 2016 to 2018, and the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe in 2019.
