Johnny Brewer
Johnny Lee Brewer (March 8, 1937 – May 27, 2011) was an American professional football player who was a tight end and linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints. He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels. Brewer was a fourth round selection by the Cleveland Browns in the 1960 NFL Draft, and was also selected by the Minneapolis AFL team of the newly formed American Football League. The Browns also selected Ole Miss teammates Bobby Franklin in the eleventh round and Robert Khayat in the sixth round. He was a member of the Browns teams that won the NFL championship in 1964 over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts and the 1965 Eastern Conference championship team that lost the title game to the Green Bay Packers. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football. It is a hybrid that combines the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a receiver (football), receiver. As part of the receiver corps, they play inside the flanks (tight), contrasted with the split end who plays outside the flanks (wide). Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Joe Jones (defensive End)
Joseph Willie "Turkey" Jones (born January 7, 1948) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Cleveland Browns (1970–1973; 1975–1978), Philadelphia Eagles (1974–1975) and Washington Redskins (1979–1980). He played college football for the Tennessee State Tigers. Turkey nickname Per Jones' daughter, Leone Jones Hopewell, he did earn his "Turkey" nickname just before Thanksgiving during his rookie season with the Browns in 1970. Milton Denis Morin (October 15, 1942 – July 9, 2010) was an American professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). Morin attended St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where he held records in track and field and was elected co-captain of the football team. He also attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH before college. He attended the University of Massachusetts, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Galen Fiss
Galen Fiss (July 30, 1931 – July 17, 2006) was an American professional football player who was a linebacker who played 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Kansas Jayhawks. He was captain on Cleveland's NFL championship team in 1964. Fiss, who had Alzheimer's disease, died of cardiac arrest in 2006. Robert Khayat
Robert Conrad Khayat (born April 18, 1938) is an American former academic administrator and football player who was the 15th chancellor of the University of Mississippi. He played football professionally as a placekicker, guard, and center for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). Khayat played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels and was selected in the sixth round of the 1960 NFL draft. He played for the Washington for three seasons, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 1960.
