John Manenti
John Manenti (born 30 March 1971) is an Australian rugby union coach who is the head coach of the San Diego Legion of Major League Rugby (MLR). Manenti achieved coaching success in international rugby sevens, winning the World Rugby Sevens Series twice for Australia, firstly with the women's team in 2018, and then with the men's team in 2022. Career As a rugby player, Manenti was a prop for Sydney clubs Western Suburbs and Sydney University in the 1990s. Manenti and Sydney University's former head coach Chris Malone are brothers-in-law. He coached the Wallaroos at the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup in England, where team won the bronze medal defeating 22–8 in the third place match. He was head coach at Eastwood for their three Shute Shield victories in 2011, 2014 and 2015, and also won the Australian Club Championship with Eastwood in 2015. West Harbour RFC
The West Harbour Rugby Football Club is a team in the Shute Shield, the premier club rugby union football competition in New South Wales. The club is based in Concord in the Inner West of Sydney, and plays home matches at Concord Oval. Concord holds a place in rugby history as a venue for the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987. The Shute Shield, currently known as the Charter Hall Shute Shield, is a semi-professional rugby union competition in Sydney, Australia. It is the premier club competition in New South Wales. The Shute Shield is awarded to the winning team from the Sydney premiership grand final held at the end of the club rugby season. History Club-based rugby football began some time before 1865. Harry John Manenti (born 5 October 2000) is an Italian-Australian cricketer who plays for Adelaide Strikers and the Italy national cricket team. He made his Big Bash League debut on 15 January 2025 against Sydney Sixers. Career Described as an all-rounder, Manenti hit consecutive sixes in the final of the Australian National Premier t20 cricket competition in 2020, to help his Sydney team beat Adelaide University. In March 2022 he completed his first season playing club cricket for New Town Cricket Club and was awarded the Emerson Rodwell Medal as the men's first grade player of the year. He made his debut for the Italy national cricket team in July 2022. The following month he hit his first century for Italy, scoring 106 against Hong Kong. Benjamin Andrew Davey Manenti (born 23 March 1997) is an Italian-Australian cricketer. He is a right-arm off spin bowler who bats right-handed. He has played for Tasmania, South Australia, the Sydney Sixers, and the Adelaide Strikers. He has also represented the Italy national cricket team, qualifying as a citizen by descent. The World Rugby SVNS, known as the HSBC SVNS for Naming rights, sponsorship reasons, is a series of international rugby sevens tournaments for women's national teams run by World Rugby.
