Johann Senn
Johann Chrysostomus Senn (1 April 1795, Pfunds – 30 September 1857, Innsbruck; pseudonym: ''Bombastus Bebederwa'') was a political lyric poet of the Vormärz. Life Johann Senn was the son of the freedom fighter, Franz Michael Senn. He lived in Vienna from 1807 and attended the Akademische Gymnasium. He was a pupil of the Wiener Stadtkonvikt along with Franz Schubert. He later studied philosophy, law und medicine, none of which he managed to complete. He became a teacher to Baron Anton von Doblhoff-Dier. From 1815, his interest in politics grew ever more strident. Members of his circle included his old schoolmate, the composer Franz Schubert, the poet Johann Mayrhofer, the lawyer and later ''Redemptorist'' Franz von Bruchmann, the artist Leopold Kupelwieser and the doctor Ernst von Feuchtersleben. Pfunds is a municipality in the district of Landeck (district), Landeck in the Federal states of Austria, Austrian state of Tyrol (state), Tyrol located 19.7 km south of the city of Landeck and 5 km north of the border to Switzerland. Johann Mayrhofer
Johann Baptist Mayrhofer (22 October 17875 February 1836) was an Austrian poet and librettist. He is best known for his close friendship with the composer Franz Schubert. Biography Mayrhofer was born in Steyr, Austria, educated at Novitiate in St. Florian's Priory, Upper Austria. In 1810 he began to study jurisprudence and theology at the University of Vienna, both of which courses he finished. He worked as a censor at the Zentral-Bücher-Revisions-Amt in Vienna. In 1814 he met the young composer Franz Schubert and his friends (Joseph von Spaun, Franz von Schober). From 1818 to 1821 he lived with Schubert in a one-room apartment in a house on Wipplingerstrasse 4. After Schubert moved out, he wrote the poem "An Franz" for him: You love me! The (Princely) County of Tyrol was an Imperial State, estate of the Holy Roman Empire established about 1140. After 1253, it was ruled by the House of Gorizia and from 1363 by the House of Habsburg. Baron Ernst von Feuchtersleben (full name: Ernst Maria Johann Karl ''Freiherr'' von Feuchtersleben; 29 April 18063 September 1849), was an Austrian physician, poet and philosopher. He was a member of the von Feuchtersleben family. Life He was born as son of Ernst von Feuchtersleben (1765–1834). He was of an old Saxon noble family. His older half-brother was Eduard von Feuchtersleben (1798–1857), son of Ernst von Feuchtersleben from his first marriage. His father, a man of serious and stern character, attained the rank of aulic councillor in the Austrian civil service. He attended the Theresian Academy in his native city, and in 1825 entered its university as a student of medicine. In 1833 he obtained the degree of doctor of medicine and settled in Vienna as a practicing surgeon. In 1834 he married.
