Johan Tyrberg
Johan Arvid Tyrberg (born 20 June 1963 in Tyringe) is a Swedish prelate, serving as the 69th bishop of the Diocese of Lund. He is the nephew of Bishop Emeritus Karl-Johan Tyrberg. Biography Tyrberg studied at Lund University and was ordained in 1990 . After serving in various quarters, including within the Swedish Church abroad, based in Frankfurt, he became vicar of Karlshamn parish in 2007. In 2009 he became rural dean of Lister och Bräkne. On 18 March 2014, Tyrberg was selected as a candidate for bishop with Fredrik Modéus and was elected on to the second round of the election, on 1 April, by a large majority. The Diocese of Lund ( sv, Lunds stift) is a diocese within the Church of Sweden which corresponds to the provinces of Blekinge and Skåne. Tyringe
Tyringe is a locality situated in Hässleholm Municipality, Scania County, Sweden with 4,658 inhabitants in 2010. History Administratively the place was made a municipal community (''municipalsamhälle'') within the rural municipalities of Finja and Västra Torup in 1928. In Sweden, the term ''municipalsamhälle'' was previously used for certain localities, functioning as a "submunicipality" with certain regulations granted by the king and also in effect for towns. The local government reform of 1952 created ''Tyringe Municipality'' out of five former entities. The last four (among them Tyringe) of the once 240 ''municipalsamhällen'' were dissolved in 1971. Karlshamn
Karlshamn () is a locality and the seat of Karlshamn Municipality in Blekinge County, Sweden. It had 13,576 inhabitants in 2015, out of 31,846 in the municipality. Karlshamn received a Royal Charter and city privileges in 1664, when King Charles X Gustav, in Swedish Karl, realized the strategic location near the Baltic Sea. In 1666 the town was named Karlshamn, meaning ''Karl's Port'' in honour of the Swedish king.
