Joaquín Álvarez Álvarez
Joaquín Álvarez Álvarez (born 4 July 1980), known as Quini, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a striker. He began his professional career at age 30, and appeared in 120 Segunda División matches over four seasons, scoring a total of 38 goals for Alcorcón and Racing de Santander. Club career From 1997 to 2010, Madrid-born Quini competed exclusively in the lower leagues of Spanish football, representing nine clubs including CA Pinto (two spells). In the 2009–10 season he scored 20 goals in 35 matches for CD Leganés, also in the Community of Madrid. At the age of already 30, Quini made his Segunda División debut, with AD Alcorcón with whom he had already played six years before. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the Essex Chronicle, ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. 2010–11 Segunda División
The 2010–11 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 27 August 2010, the regular league ended on 4 June 2011, and the season ended with the promotion play-off finals on 18 June 2011. The first goal of the season was scored by Javi Guerra, who scored a sixth-minute goal for Real Valladolid against Villarreal B in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Hernán Pérez from Villarreal B in their opening game against Valladolid.
