Joaquín Antonio Monasterio Suárez (born 13 June 1984) is a Bolivian Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He is the current manager of The Strongest. Playing career Born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Monasterio made his debut with Club Blooming, Blooming, and subsequently represented Club Primero de Mayo, Primero de Mayo, Sport Boys Warnes and Club Deportivo Guabirá, Guabirá. He also played for the Bolivia national under-20 football team, Bolivia national under-20 team. Managerial career Monasterio began his career in 2015, as manager of the youth sides of Oriente Petrolero. On 16 August 2020, he moved to Brazil and was named head coach of Esporte Clube Primeiro Passo Vitória da Conquista, Vitória da Conquista. Santa Cruz de la Sierra (; ), commonly known as Santa Cruz, is the largest city in Bolivia and the capital of the Santa Cruz Department (Bolivia), Santa Cruz department.
