Jim Rempe
James Rempe (born November 4, 1947, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, US) is an American professional pocket billiards (pool) player, and was inducted into the Billiard Congress of America's Hall of Fame in 2002. Career Rempe began playing pool at the age of 6. he turned pro at the age of 22, winning over 100 tournaments in various pool disciplines. A winner of pocket billiard championships, in Nine-ball, Eight-ball and Straight Pool. He accumulated many tournament wins in the 1970s throughout the United States, Asia and Europe, thus acquiring the nickname "King James". In 1979, Rempe went to Australia where he defeated World Snooker Championship finalist Eddie Charlton in a series of Nine-ball, Rotation, and Straight Pool. Keith McCready
Keith McCready (born April 9, 1957) is an American professional pool (cue sports), pool player who played under the nickname "Earthquake". At one time considered among the top players in America, McCready has been a traveling tournament competitor and notorious Hustling, hustler since the 1970s. Known for comedically interacting with the audience during matches, McCready was also a contributing writer for ''InsidePool'' magazine between 2003 and 2006. He also had a supporting role as the hustler Grady Seasons in the 1986 film ''The Color of Money''. J Resort, formerly the Sands Regency Casino Hotel, is a casino hotel in downtown Reno, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Jacobs Entertainment, Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. The 1987 World Snooker Championship (also referred to as the 1987 Embassy World Snooker Championship for the purpose of sponsorship) was a professional snooker tournament that took place between 18 April and 4 May 1987 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England. It was the sixth and final ranking event of the 1986–87 snooker season. The championship was the 1987 edition of the World Snooker Championship, first held in 1927, and had 32 participants.
