Jim Hill (broadcaster)
James Webster Hill (born October 21, 1946) is an American sportscaster and former professional football player who is the lead sports anchor and sports director at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. He played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). Football career Hill played college football at Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University–Kingsville) for the Javelinas. He played in the NFL for the San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers, and Cleveland Browns. Broadcasting career Hill started his broadcasting career in college, after a professor referred him to the general manager at KINE in Kingsville, Texas following a prank to get out of biology class. There, he was a disc jockey and talk show host. When he was selected by the Chargers, the station which carried them, KCST (now KNSD), wanted to be closer to Hill. The Oregon House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly, the upper house being the Oregon State Senate. There are 60 members of the House, representing 60 districts across the state, each with a population of approximately 65,000. Jim Hill (runner)
Jim Hill (born July 1, 1961) is an American former distance runner who competed over distances from the 1500 metres to the 10,000 metres. He represented the United States at the 1983 World Championships in Athletics in the 5000 metres, where he finished 16th overall, and at the 1979 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in the junior men's race where he finished 12th individually and helped his team to a 4th-place finish. He was also a five-time NCAA Division 1 All American and 4 time Pac 10 Champion in cross country and track and field while at the University of Oregon. Carl Michael Edwards Jr. (born August 15, 1979) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and a current analyst for ''NASCAR on Prime Video''. He last competed in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota Camry (XV50), Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. Jim Hill High School is a public high school located in Jackson, Mississippi, United States, hosting the state's first International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) program. It hosts Advanced Placement courses, a JROTC, and a SOAR program. History Jim Hill was founded in 1912 by James Hill, hence the name "Jim Hill" High School, for the establishment of a secondary institution for African Americans in the Jackson, Mississippi area. The former building was established on Lynch Street as an elementary school to educate the youth of West Jackson. The current building was constructed in the 1960s in the Washington Addition neighborhood. The school also was formerly housed in a building that operated as Blackburn Middle School where a new school was established in 2010.
