Jianyang, Nanping
Jianyang is a district in the prefecture-level city of Nanping, in the northern part of Fujian province, People's Republic of China. Its population was 340,843 in 2020. Jianyang has rich natural resources: bamboo, tea and water power. History From the 11th to the 17th century, commercial publishers established in the area used local bamboo for paper manufacturing and made the area one of the three largest book-producing areas in China in the Song (960–1279) and Yuan (1271–1368) dynasties. Jiangnan is a geographic area in China referring to lands immediately to the south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, including the southern part of its delta. Fujian Nanping First Secondary School of Jianyang District, or Fujian First Secondary School of Jianyang, is a school in Jianyang District, Nanping, Fujian Province, China. The school was founded in 1919. Due to the Second World War, funds became insufficient; restoration took place in 1941. It now covers over 80,000 square meters. The Beijing–Taipei Expressway (), designated as G3 and commonly known as the Jingtai Expressway (), is a partially completed expressways of China, Chinese expressway that, if fully constructed, would connect the China, People's Republic of China with Taiwan. Currently, the expressway is complete from Beijing to Fuzhou, Fujian, and is fully complete in Mainland China except for a small section in Fujian which is under construction. In Taiwan, the expressway was proposed to connect with a hypothetical G99 Taiwan Ring Expressway in Taipei, which would supposedly encircle the island of Taiwan, as proposed by the People's Republic of China.
