Jesús Alberto López Ortiz (4 June 1994 – 29 July 2023), was a Costa Rican professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Played as a central midfielder, "Chucho" López as he was known, was considered the main player of his club, Deportivo Cañas, and one of the great revelations of Costa Rican football. Jesús López Pacheco
Jesús López Pacheco (1930 in Madrid, Spain – April 6, 1997 in Toronto, Canada) was a novelist, translator, poet and professor of Spanish. López Pacheco studied philosophy and arts (Romance languages) at the University of Madrid. His communist sympathies soon became evident and he participated in the fledgling anti-Franco student protests. López Pacheco first published collections of poetry: ''Dejad crecer este Silencio'' (Premio Adonais 1953), ''Mi corazón se llama Cudillero'' (1961), ''Pongo la mano sobre España'' (1961) ''Canciones del amor prohibido'' (1961). His 1958 his novel ''Central Eléctrica'' discussed progress, workers and social injustice. It was short listed for the Premio Nadal. López Pacheco left Spain in 1968, accepting a one-year position at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He would stay there until his retirement in 1994, when he moved to Toronto. Jesús López Cobos
Jesús López Cobos (25 February 1940 – 2 March 2018) was a Spanish conductor. Early life and career López Cobos was born in Toro, Zamora, Spain. He studied at Complutense University of Madrid and graduated with a degree in philosophy. Later he studied conducting with Franco Ferrara and with Hans Swarowsky at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. From 1981 to 1990 he was general music director of the Deutsche Oper Berlin and from 1984 to 1988 he was music director of the Orquesta Nacional de España. From 1986 to 2001 he served as music director of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and from 1990 to 2000 he was principal conductor of the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. From 2003 to 2010 he served as music director of the Teatro Real in Madrid. He was a National Patron of Delta Omicron, an international professional music fraternity, as well as an honorary brother of the Eta-Omicron chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
