Jerónimo Amione
Jerónimo Arturo Amione Cevallos (born 31 March 1990) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a forward. Born in Mexico, Amione is Lebanese from his father's side, and Mexican from his mother's side. He represented Mexico at youth level at the 2011 Pan American Games, winning the tournament. Amione obtained Lebanese citizenship in 2017; however, FIFA didn't consider him eligible for the national team as he had already represented Mexico competitively prior to becoming Lebanese. Club career Amione made his senior debut for Atlante on 23 April 2010 as a substitute in a match against Estudiantes Tecos, he scored a goal in the 9 minutes he played in a 3–2 defeat. He was runner up in the 2013 Copa MX, where they lost to Cruz Azul. Later that year, he joined Cruz Azul. Lebanese Nationality Law
Lebanese nationality law governs the acquisition, transmission and loss of Lebanese citizenship. Lebanese citizenship is the status of being a citizen of Lebanon and it can be obtained by birth or naturalization. Lebanese nationality is transmitted paternally (via father) (see Jus sanguinis). Therefore, a Lebanese man who holds Lebanese citizenship can automatically confer citizenship to his children and foreign wife (only if entered in the Civil Acts Register in the Republic of Lebanon). Amioun (; ) is the capital of the predominantly Greek Orthodox Christianity in Lebanon, Greek Orthodox Koura District (i.e. χώρα, "country" in Greek) in North Lebanon. The association football tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held from 25 July to 11 August, and was the only sport to begin before the official opening day of the Olympic Games, two days before the opening ceremony. It was also the only sport to be held at multiple venues outside London (the host city of the Olympics), with Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Coventry and Cardiff all hosting matches. Ascenso MX, also known as Ascenso BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, was a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Primera División A de México (1994–2009) and also as Liga de Ascenso (2009–2012).
