Jerry Yee
Jerry Yee (born April 14, 1974) is a Filipino volleyball coach who is the head coach of the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles of the Premier Volleyball League, the UE Lady Red Warriors of the UAAP, and the Benilde Lady Blazers of the NCAA. Career High school Prior to becoming a coach in the collegiate level, Yee was in charge of Hope Christian High School's girls volleyball program as its coach. It was with Hope Christian where Yee first coached Isa Molde, Justine Dorog and Mae Basarte. The school played in the V-League and formed part of the core of the National Capital Region girls team in the Palarong Pambansa. Collegiate UAAP Yee has coached teams in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). =University of the Philippines= Yee first coaches the UP Fighting Maroons in Seasons 78 and 79. Zus Coffee Thunderbelles
The Zus Coffee Thunderbelles (stylized as ZUS Coffee) are a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippines competing in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). The team is owned by Strong Group Athletics, founded by Frank Lao, who has a stake in the Malaysian-based coffee chain Zus Coffee. The team made their team debut in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference under the name Strong Group Athletics following the organization's acquisition of the Quezon City Gerflor Defenders franchise. The Thunderbelles are one of two teams owned by SGA, the other being the Farm Fresh Foxies. UAAP Season 79 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. Aside from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the games will also be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City and the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The tournament host is the University of Santo Tomas, the season's host school. Rustico "Otie" Camangian will serve as the commissioner of the tournament. The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career.
