Jericho is a village in Chittenden County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,333 at the 2020 census. Geography Jericho village is located in the northwest part of the town of Jericho, along Vermont Route 15 in the valley of the Browns River. It is east of Burlington. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , of which , or 0.47%, is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 1,457 people, 510 households, and 412 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,013.5 people per square mile (390.7/km2). There were 513 housing units at an average density of 356.8/sq mi (137.5/km2). Burlington is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Vermont and the seat of Chittenden County. It is located south of the Canada–United States border and south of Montreal.
