Jeremy Hayward
Jeremy Thomas Hayward (born 3 March 1993) is an Australian field hockey player. Hayward was part of the Australia men's national field hockey team, Australian team who won the 2014 Men's Hockey World Cup. The team defeated the Netherlands men's national field hockey team, Netherlands 6–1 in the final. Hayward was also awarded Young Player of the Tournament at this event. Hayward was selected in the Kookaburras (hockey), Kookaburras Olympics squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The team reached the final for the first time since 2004 but couldn't achieve gold, beaten by Belgium in a shootout. Jeremy's brother Leon Hayward is a New Zealand field hockey player. The two competed against one another at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. 2014 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy
The 2014 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy was the 35th edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy men's field hockey tournament. It was held between in Bhubaneswar, India. From this year on the tournament began to be held biennially due to the introduction of the Hockey World League, returning to its original format changed in 1980. Leon Hayward (born 23 April 1990) is an Australian-born New Zealand field hockey player, who plays as a goalkeeper. Personal life Leon Hayward was born and raised in Darwin, Northern Territory. He is the older brother of Kookaburras defender, Jeremy Hayward. His mother, Ellie, is of New Zealand descent. Kookaburras (hockey)
The Australia men's national field hockey team (nicknamed the Kookaburras) is one of the nation's most successful top-level sporting teams. They are the only Australian team in any sport to receive medals at six straight Summer Olympic Games (1992–2012). The Kookaburras placed in the top four in every Olympics between 1980 and 2012 winning gold in 2004; in 2016, the Kookaburras placed sixth. They won the Hockey World Cup in 1986, 2010 and 2014. 2016-17 Men's FIH Hockey World League Final
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there were hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . The 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League Final took place from 27 November to 6 December 2015 in Raipur, India. A total of 8 teams competed for the title. The 2019 Men's FIH Pro League was the first season of the Pro League, the premier men's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in January 2019 and finished in June 2019 in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Australia defeated Belgium 3–2 in the final to win the first FIH Pro League title. The Netherlands won the third-place match against Great Britain 5–3. The Men's FIH Pro League is an international men's field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), which replaces the Men's FIH Hockey World League.
