Jeremy Carl is an American political commentator, energy and environmental policy scholar, government official, activist against anti-white racism, and author. He was Deputy assistant secretary, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the United States Department of the Interior, Interior during the First presidency of Donald Trump, first Trump Administration. In June of 2025, President Donald Trump nominated Carl to be the Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs. Carl is a Senior Fellow at the Claremont Institute. James Eugene Goodby (born December 20, 1929) is an author and former American diplomat. Goodby was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in 1951 and served as a second lieutenant in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1952–53. He attended the University of Michigan (1951–52) and Harvard University (1953–54). Goodby served with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in Boston in 1951. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it was formerly known as the Tata Energy Research Institute. As the scope of its activities widened, it was renamed The Energy and Resources Institute in 2003. History The origins of TERI lie in Mithapur, a remote town in Gujarat, where a TATA engineer, Darbari Seth, was concerned about the enormous quantities of energy his factory spent on desalination.
