Jemile Weeks
Jemile Nykiwa Weeks ( ; born January 26, 1987) is an American former professional baseball second baseman and outfielder. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, and San Diego Padres. He is the younger brother of former MLB second baseman Rickie Weeks. He played college baseball at the University of Miami. Amateur career Weeks attended Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida. At Altamonte Springs, Weeks hit .472 as a junior and led the team to a conference title, and also won All-State honors twice. Weeks also went 3-3 with a home run in the 2005 PlayStation All-America Baseball Game and played football for two seasons. Weeks then attended the University of Miami. Rickie Weeks
Rickie Darnell Weeks Jr. (born September 13, 1982) is an American former professional baseball second baseman who is the associate manager for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). Between 2003 and 2017, he played in MLB for the Brewers, Seattle Mariners, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Tampa Bay Rays. He was named an MLB All-Star in 2011. Weeks bats and throws right-handed. Until the 2009 season, Weeks had a distinctive batting stance similar to that of Gary Sheffield, waggling his bat heavily before swinging. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season baseball league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Altamonte Springs, Florida
Altamonte Springs is a suburban city in Central Florida in Seminole County, Florida, Seminole County, Florida, United States, which had a population of 46,231 at the 2020 United States census. The city is in the northern suburbs of the Greater Orlando, Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area, which the United States Census Bureau estimated had a population of 2,673,376 in 2020.
