Jean Márquez
Jean Jonathan Márquez Orellana (born 6 March 1985) is a Guatemalan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for and captains Liga Nacional club Mixco. Club career Comunicaciones On 3 June 2019, it was confirmed that Márquez would depart from the club. Mixco Two days after departing from Comunicaciones, Mixco announced the official signing of Márquez. International career On 23 June 2015, Márquez was called up by Iván Sopegno for Guatemala's 23-man squad for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Personal life In 2020, Márquez launched his own clothing brand called JM12. In November of the same year, the brand became the new sponsor of Mixco. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – CONCACAF Fourth Round
The fourth round of CONCACAF matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification was played from 13 November 2015 to 6 September 2016. Format A total of 12 teams (teams ranked 1 to 6 in the CONCACAF entrant list and 6 third round winners) were divided into three groups of four teams each. In each group, teams played against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format for a total of six matches per team. The top two teams of each group (three group winners and three runners-up) advanced to the fifth round (also called the 'Hexagonal' or 'Hex'). 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League C
The 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League C was the third and lowest division of the 2019–20 edition of the CONCACAF Nations League, the inaugural season of the international football competition involving the men's national teams of the 41 member associations of CONCACAF. Format League C consisted of thirteen teams: the teams from qualifying which finished from 23rd to 34th, along with Guatemala, who were suspended at the deadline to enter qualifying. The league was split into four groups, with three groups of three teams and one group of four teams. The teams competed in a home-and-away, round-robin format over the course of the group phase, with matches played in the official FIFA match windows in September, October and November 2019.
