Jean-Louis Alléon-Dulac
Jean-Louis Alléon-Dulac (1723–1788) was a French naturalist. Jean-Louis Alléon-Dulac was born in Saint-Étienne, Loire, the son of an adviser of the king. He became a lawyer at the Parliament of Lyon between 1748 and 1765, Director of the post office, Warehouse keeper of tobacco and Receiver of the Lottery of Saint-Etienne, but is especially known as a naturalist. He wrote ''Mélange d'histoire naturelle'' (1754) and ''Mémoire pour servir à l'histoire naturelle des provinces de Lyonnais, Forez et Beaujolais'', printed by Claude Cizeron at Lyon in 1765. In this last work, he gave a detailed description of the quarry, quarries and Mining, mines of these areas and one of the first figures of an ammonite. He was also the first to identify the belemnites as cephalopods. He died at Saint-Etienne. References

Jean-Louis Thiériot (; born 26 June 1969) is a French politician and essayist who has represented the 3rd constituency of the Seine-et-Marne department in the National Assembly since 2018. A lawyer by occupation, he is a member of The Republicans (LR). Thiériot previously served as Mayor of Beauvoir (2008–2018) and President of the Departmental Council of Seine-et-Marne (2018), in which he has represented the canton of Nangis since 2015. Jean-Louis Pichon (; 18 September 1948 – ) was a French stage director, opera manager and author. He was manager of the from 1983 to 2008, dedicated to the French repertoire, where he co-founded and directed the Massenet Festival around the works of Jules Massenet who was born there. Some performances were recorded, and shared with other French theatres and abroad. Pinchon also directed operas at the Opéra-Comique in Paris, the Municipal Theatre of Santiago in Chile, and other theatres in France and abroad. Jean-Louis Palladin (May 7, 1946 – November 25, 2001) was a French-born chef who introduced French Nouvelle cuisine to the Washington elite at his restaurant, Jean-Louis at the Watergate, and influenced a generation of French and American chefs. Early life Jean-Louis Palladin was born on May 7, 1946, in the small town of Condom, Gers in southwestern France. Palladin attended culinary school in Toulouse and then worked in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant in Condom. Jean-Louis Loday (12 January 1946 – 6 June 2012) was a French mathematician who worked on cyclic homology and who introduced Leibniz algebras (sometimes called Loday algebras) and Zinbiel algebras. He occasionally used the pseudonym Guillaume William Zinbiel, formed by reversing the last name of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Education and career Loday studied at Lycée Louis-le-Grand and at École Normale Supérieure in Paris. Jean-Louis Koszul (; 3 January 1921 – 12 January 2018) was a French mathematician, best known for studying geometry and discovering the Koszul complex. He was a second generation member of Bourbaki. Biography Koszul was educated at the in Strasbourg before studying at the Faculty of Science University of Strasbourg and the Faculty of Science of the University of Paris. His Ph.D. thesis, titled ''Homologie et cohomologie des algèbres de Lie'', was written in 1950 under the direction of Henri Cartan. He lectured at many universities and was appointed in 1963 professor in the Faculty of Science at the University of Grenoble. He was a member of the French Academy of Sciences. Koszul was the cousin of the French composer Henri Dutilleux, and the grandchild of the composer Julien Koszul. Koszul married Denise Reyss-Brion on 17 July 1948.
