Jean-François Fournier
Jean-François Fournier (born 12 January 1966, in Saint-Maurice, Switzerland) is a writer, playwright, poet and biographer Vaud. After a Degree in philosophy and letters from the Academy of Grenoble, he attended the University of Fribourg. He then decided to practice journalism and attended the Romand Training Centre for Journalists. He worked for the newspapers '' Le Nouveau Quotidien'' and '' Le Matin'' and then moved to Canada. He was awarded the first Prize of Poetry from the Vaud Association of Writers in 1983. He received the 1988 Journalism Award from the Council of Europe, and in 1998, the canton of Valais awarded him an award for his entire literary production. University Of Fribourg
The University of Fribourg (; ) is a public university located in Fribourg, Switzerland. The roots of the university can be traced back to 1580, when the notable Jesuit Peter Canisius founded the Collège Saint-Michel in the City of Fribourg. In 1763, an academy of law was founded by the state of Fribourg which formed the nucleus of the present law faculty. The University of Fribourg was finally created in 1889 by an Act of the parliament of the Swiss Canton of Fribourg. The University of Fribourg is Switzerland's only bilingual university and offers full curricula in both French and German, two of Switzerland's national languages. Students number about 10,000; there are about 200 tenured professors and 700 other academic teaching and research personnel. The Misericorde Campus, constructed between 1939 and 1942, was designed by the architects Honegger and Dumas, students of Swiss architect Le Corbusier. ''Le Nouveau Quotidien'' (NQ) was a French-language Swiss daily newspaper founded in September 1991, published out of Lausanne. It was published by Edipresse, with the French newspaper ''Libération'' and the media group Ringier also having financial interest and collaboration with its publication. It was a non-regional paper, aiming to cover the interests of French-speaking Switzerland. The editor-in-chief of the paper throughout most of its life was Jacques Pilet, who was replaced in 1997 by Alain Campiotti. Following financial difficulties that faced both papers, it was merged in March 1998 with the '' Journal de Genève et Gazette de Lausanne'', its more conservative competitor, to form ''Le Temps.'' The Sunday and on-line versions continue. History and profile was created in 1893, merging with the daily paper in 1896. In 1912, the paper was bought by , and became a politically independent informational paper, for a generalist audience with lower prices. It received a Sunday edition starting in 1914, . Egon Leo Adolf Ludwig Schiele (; 12 June 1890 – 31 October 1918) was an Austrian Expressionist painters, painter. His work is noted for its intensity and its raw sexuality, and for the many self-portraits the artist produced, including nude self-portraits. The twisted body shapes and the expressive line that characterize Schiele's paintings and drawings mark the artist as an early exponent of Expressionism.
