Jean-François Breau
Jean-François Breau (born 29 July 1978 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian singer-songwriter of Acadian origin. Biography Born in Sainte-Catherine, Ontario of an Acadian father from Tracadie–Sheila and a mother from Matane, Breau grew up in Tracadie–Sheila, on the Acadian Peninsula, in the Gloucester county of New Brunswick. He presently resides in Quebec. After finishing his secondary education, Jean-Francois studied medicine. He was a health major at University of Moncton's Shippagan Campus to become a cardiologist. In 2004, he took over the lead role in another musical comedy ''Don Juan'' of Félix Gray. His role was opposite the lead role of Marie-Ève Janvier. The show had 350 presentations in Canada, France and South Korea, and the album from the show featuring songs by Breau sold 350,000 worldwide. "On s'est aimé à cause" (meaning "we fell in love because") is a song by Canadian singer Celine Dion, from her twenty-second studio album, '' D'elles'' (2007). Caraquet
Caraquet ( ) is a town in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada. Situated on the shore of Chaleur Bay in the Acadian Peninsula, its name is derived from the Mi'kmaq term for ''meeting of two rivers''. The Caraquet River and Rivière du Nord flow into the Caraquet Bay west of the town. On 1 January 2023, the town was greatly enlarged by annexing the village of Bas-Caraquet and all or part of seven local service districts; the annexed communities' names remain in official use. Revised census figures have not been released. Establishment Caraquet was first settled by Gabriel Giraud dit St-Jean who was a French trader and merchant. The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic Moment magnitude scale, magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake that struck Haiti at 16:53 local time (21:53 UTC) on Tuesday, 12 January 2010. The epicenter was near the town of Léogâne, Ouest (department), Ouest department, approximately west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital. By 24 January, at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater had been recorded. An estimated three million people were affected by the quake. Saint-Casimir, Quebec
Saint-Casimir is a municipality of about 1800 people in the Portneuf Regional County Municipality in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the Sainte-Anne River, about southwest of Quebec City and northeast of Trois-Rivières. It was founded in 1836 by people who came from Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, Quebec, Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade following to the east along the Sainte-Anne.
