Jaroslav Bába
Jaroslav Bába () (born 2 September 1984 in Karviná) is a Czech Republic, Czech high jumper. At the 2004 IAAF World Indoor Championships he jumped 2.25 metres, winning a joint bronze medal along with Germaine Mason and Ştefan Vasilache. In the same year he won the Athletics at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's high jump, Olympic bronze medal with a jump of 2.34 m. In 2005 he jumped a new personal best of 2.36 m in July in Rome, and later finished fifth at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics - Men's High Jump, World Championships. He had 2.37 m on the indoor track in Arnstadt from February of the same year. He did not compete in the 2006 season. During the summer of 2009 he spent several weeks in England to improve his English language skills. Germaine Mason
Germaine Mason (20 January 1983 – 20 April 2017) was a Jamaican-born track and field athlete competing in high jump. In 2006, he switched sporting allegiance, and then represented Great Britain. As a Great Britain competitor, he won the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Career Mason won silver and bronze medals at the World Junior Championships in 2000 and 2002 respectively, the latter event held in his hometown of Kingston. His first medal at senior level came at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, when he won a gold medal, having achieved a personal best jump of 2.34 metres. He finished fifth at the World Championships the same year. The following seasons saw him drop to 2.25 m (2004) and 2.27 m (2005), but 2.25 m was enough to win a bronze medal at the 2004 IAAF World Indoor Championships. 2003 European Athletics Junior Championships
The 2003 European Athletics Junior Championships was held in Tampere, Finland from 23 to 27 July 2003. A total of 44 events were contested; 22 by men and 22 by women.
