''Jarmark'' is the fifth studio album by Polish rapper Taco Hemingway. It was released on August 28, 2020, by Taco Corp and 2020. The recordings were made available on the rapper's website and on YouTube. The material, recorded by 2020, was produced by multiple producers. The album represents a hip-hop style with influences from alternative hip-hop. The main themes of the lyrics are dilemmas about the country, political topics and problems of the young society. ''Jarmark'' got an average reception from music critics. Reviewers praised the artist for touching on the political problems of Poles, but accused the rapper of a number of populist verses. The album debuted on the first place of the nationwide sales list OLiS, spreading in more than 30,000 copies. Moreover, it was the eighth best-selling album of 2020 in Poland. Taco Hemingway
Filip Tadeusz Szcześniak (born 29 July 1990), better known by the stage name Taco Hemingway (earlier FV), is a Polish rapper. He began recording in 2011, at which time he released - under the pseudonym Foodvillain - an English-language mixtape entitled ''Who Killed JFK.'' A year later, he adopted the pseudonym Taco Hemingway, under which he released the English-language EP ''Young Hems''. In 2014, he released a second EP, this time recorded in Polish, titled ''Trójkąt warszawski''. The album brought the musician publicity, thanks to which he joined the label Asfalt Records, under which he released a re-release of ''Trójkąt warszawski'' and a new EP entitled ''Umowa o dzieło''. These, as well as subsequent albums released on the label, made the rapper famous, and he quickly became one of the most popular musicians in Poland. Alternative Hip Hop
Alternative hip-hop (also known as alternative rap and experimental hip-hop) is a subgenre of hip-hop music that encompasses a wide range of styles that are not typically identified as mainstream. AllMusic defines it as comprising "hip-hop groups that refuse to conform to any of the traditional stereotypes of rap, such as gangsta, bass, hardcore, and party rap. Alex Prager
Alex Prager (born 1979) is an American artist, director, and screenwriter based in Los Angeles.Johnson, Ken (March 19, 2010) ''The New York Times''. Prager is best known for making large-scale photographic works that distort the boundaries between reality and artifice, often centered around the female experience. Her photographs and first short film were included in MoMA's ''New Photography'' ''2010'' exhibition and in 2023, Prager was named one of the "25 New Faces of Independent Film." Early life Prager was born in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. At age fourteen, she dropped out of school and traveled to Switzerland on her own, where she worked at a knife store in Lucerne. She returned to Switzerland frequently for longer periods of time and earned her G.E.D at sixteen.
