Jarle Simensen (born 23 March 1937, in Os Municipality in Hedmark) is a Norwegian historian. He took the cand.philol. degree at the University of Oslo in 1966, and worked as a research assistant at the same university, a research fellow at the Norwegian Research Council and Institute of Social Research and, briefly, associate professor (''førsteamanuensis'') at the University of Trondheim before taking the dr.philos. degree in Trondheim in 1976. Bjørn Jarle Ørnø Røberg-Larsen (born 1973, in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party in the city of Elverum and in the regional parliament of Hedmark (Hedmark Fylkesting), as well as a Norwegian internet entrepreneur. He is also the editor and publisher of Sosialdemokraten.no, a blog about social democratic politics. Røberg-Larsen now holds the position as second deputy for the Labour Party to the regional parliament of Hedmark county (Hedmark Fylkesting). Jarle Vespestad (born 16 April 1966) is a Norwegian jazz musician (percussion), the younger brother of jazz musician Liz Tove Vespestad, and a central member of Tord Gustavsen's projects. Career Vespestad was born in Kirkenes and picked up drumming in the local marching band, but drumming first became serious after finishing high school, where he found himself heading into a future as a substitute teacher at his local high-school. He made up his mind and graduated from the Toneheim Folk High School (1988) and Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (1990). Jarle Pedersen
Jarle Pedersen (born 15 June 1955) is a retired Norwegian speed skater and the retired coach of the Norwegian speed skating team. He is from Kåfjord in Alta Municipality in Finnmark county, but now resides in Bjørnafjorden Municipality to the south of Bergen. Pedersen competed in the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and finished 6th on the 500 m. On 25 November 2009 he became the head coach of the Norwegian Speed skating team following Peter Mueller. Johann Olav Koss became his assistant. He has been a speed skating coach in the local team Fana IL. In Fana he was the coach for his son Sverre Lunde Pedersen.
