Jarella
Jarella is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Along with Betty Ross and Caiera, she was one of the Hulk's great loves. The character was introduced in ''The Incredible Hulk'' #140 (May 1971), and was created by Roy Thomas, Herb Trimpe, and guest writer Harlan Ellison. Publication history Jarella first appeared in ''The Incredible Hulk'' #140 (June 1971) as a one-off character in a plot by guest writer Harlan Ellison. She was brought back in issue #148, another tale by a guest plotter, in this case Chris Claremont in his first published story. Though Jarella's appearances would continue to be sporadic, she became a major driving force in the plot and characterization of the Hulk for several years. Jarella is killed in ''The Incredible Hulk'' #205 (November 1976). Betty Ross
Elizabeth "Betty" Ross (later Talbot and then Banner) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in ''The Incredible Hulk'' #1 (1962) as a romantic interest of the Hulk (Dr. Bruce Banner). She is the daughter of General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. Over the years, the character has undergone multiple transformations, including the Harpy and Red She-Hulk. The character was portrayed by Jennifer Connelly in ''Hulk'' (2003). Psyklop is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created in combination by Harlan Ellison, Roy Thomas, Sal Buscema and Jim Mooney, the character first appeared in ''Avengers'' #88. Fictional character biography Psyklop is the last survivor of a prehistoric, insectoid species.
