Jaraguá (CPTM)
Jaraguá is a train station on CPTM Line 7-Ruby, in the district of Jaraguá in São Paulo. It is the only CPTM station that has platforms built in different locations. The station is split in two by Estrada de Taipas. This way, the level crossing is open faster for the local traffic and avoid delays. Split Platform
A split platform, stacked platform, or separate platform is a railway station, station that has a railway platform, platform for each track, split onto two or more levels. This configuration allows a narrower station plan (or footprint) horizontally, at the expense of a deeper (or higher) vertical elevation, because sets of tracks and platforms are stacked above each other. The Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) () is one of the rapid transit companies serving the city of São Paulo, alongside the São Paulo Metro, Via Quatro and Via Mobilidade, all four forming the largest metropolitan rail transport network of Latin America. It was created on 28 May 1992, from several railroads that already existed in Greater São Paulo, Brazil. Vila Aurora is a train station on Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos, CPTM Line 7 (CPTM), Line 7-Ruby, in the Jaraguá (district of São Paulo), district of Jaraguá in São Paulo. History Because of the distance between Jaraguá and Perus stations, the Prefecture of São Paulo suggested to the State Government the construction of Vila Aurora station between them in the Director Plan of the Subprefecture of Pirituba. After a brief start, the construction was put on hold in 2010 because of disagreements between CPTM and consortium companies, which quit the construction. The work was resumed in the end of 2010 by the Heleno & Fonseca Construtécnica S/A consortium, which place second in the bidding, by the cost of Brazilian real, R$ 26,000,000 (United States dollar, US$ ). Vila Clarice (CPTM)
Vila Clarice is a train station on CPTM Line 7-Ruby, located in the district of Pirituba in São Paulo. History The allotment of Vila Clarisse was already in São Paulo maps in 1930, as in 1943 the core was already under settlement. Between the 1940s and the beginning of the 1950s, a platform was built, with occasional train stops. In 1953, City Councillor Anna Lamberga Zeglio requested to the Director of Estrada de Ferro Santos-Jundiaí that the commuter trains made regular stop in the station. With the growing of Vila Clarrise neighbourhoo, EFSJ implemented a station to replace the platform, opened on 1 September 1955. After being operated by RFFSA between 1957 and 1983, Vila Clarice is transferred to CBTU in 1984, which enlarged the station platforms from 6 to 9 cars in 1985. Estrada De Ferro Santos-Jundiaí
Estrada de Ferro Santos-Jundiaí was a gauge railway line in São Paulo, Brazil. On 13 September 1946, the São Paulo Railway was nationalised by the federal government, and passed to be managed by the Brazilian Ministry of Transportation and Public Works (). In 1948 it was renamed and in 1957 became part of (RFFSA). It was incorporated by RFFSA in 1969. In the 1970s, the haulage system was replaced by a three blade abt system which was installed by the Japanese firm Marubeni. The locomotives for this changeover had been constructed by Hitachi. New locomotives (7) were ordered in 2010 from the Swiss manufacturer Stadler Rail. The rack-and-pinion locomotives are supposed to be the most powerful ever built, with over 5000 kW of power they develop 760 kN of tractive force.
