Janneken Øverland
Janneken Øverland (born 22 August 1946) is a Norwegian editor, biographer and publishing house executive. She was born in Stavanger. She edited the literary magazine '' Vinduet'' from 1980 to 1984. She was co-editor of the three-volume ''Norsk kvinnelitteraturhistorie'' (1988-1990), and has written a biography on Cora Sandel. From 1997 until her retirement in 2013 she was editorial manager for the publishing house Gyldendal Norsk Forlag Gyldendal Norsk Forlag AS, commonly referred to as Gyldendal N.F. and in Norway often only as Gyldendal, is one of the largest Norway, Norwegian publishing houses. Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. It is the third largest city and third largest metropolitan area in Norway (through conurbation with neighboring Sandnes) and the administrative center of Rogaland county. ''Vinduet'' (Norwegian: ''The Window'') is an online literary magazine. It was a print publication between 1947 and 2021. Its first issue as purely an online publication was started in Autumn 2021. The magazine is based in Oslo, Norway. History and profile ''Vinduet'' was founded in 1947 by Harald Grieg and Nic. Stang. The owner is the publishing house Gyldendal Norsk Forlag. Four paper editions were issued annually. In the 1960s ''Vinduet'' adopted the eclectic thinking in dealing with literary work. Cora Sandel
Sara Cecilia Görvell Fabricius (20 December 1880 – 3 April 1974), better known by her pen name Cora Sandel, was a Norwegian writer and painter who lived most of her adult life abroad. Her best-known works are the novels now known as the ''Alberta Trilogy''. In 1961, she was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature by the Norwegian philosopher Harald Ofstad. Biography Sara Cecilia Görvell Fabricius was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. Her parents were Jens Schow Fabricius (1839–1910) and Anna Margareta Greger (1858–1903). When she was 12 years old, her family moved to Tromsø, where her father was appointed a naval commander.
