Janek Õiglane
Janek Õiglane (born 25 April 1994 in Rakvere) is an Estonian Olympic decathlete. He has competed at multiple major championships and competed at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, finishing in fifth place. Career He won a bronze medal at the 2015 European U23 Championships. He competed for Estonia and placed nineteenth overall at the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China with 7581 points. He placed fourth overall at the 2017 World Athletics Championships in London, England, with a lifetime best of 8371 points, including a javelin throw personal best of 71.73 metres. He moved in late 2017 to work with coach Andrei Nazarov. He also spent three months with the Estonian Army in 2018 before a heel and hamstring injury ruled him out of the 2018 season. Rakvere
Rakvere is the administrative center, or county seat, of Lääne-Viru County in northern Estonia, about 100 km southeast of Tallinn and 20 km south of the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea. Rakvere boasts a distinctive architectural feature: the Rakvere door. The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships () was the seventeenth edition of the biennial, global sport of athletics, athletics competition organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), since renamed World Athletics. Trabzon
Trabzon, historically known as Trebizond, is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. The athletics competition at the 2011 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held from 25 to 29 July 2011. The events took place at the Söğütlü Athletics Stadium in Trabzon, Turkey. Boys and girls born 1994 or 1995 or later participated 36 track and field events, divided evenly between the sexes. 2011 World Youth Championships In Athletics
The 2011 World Youth Championships in Athletics were the seventh edition of the World Youth Championships in Athletics. They were held in Lille Métropole, France, with stadium-based events at Stadium Lille Métropole in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, on 6–10 July 2011. The 26th European Athletics Championships were held from 7 to 12 June 2024 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy.
