Jan Štefela (born 20 April 2001) is a Czech high jumper. He won the high jump at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships, 2021 European Under-23 Championships and placed fifth at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships – Men's high jump, 2024 World Indoor Championships. World Athletics He is also a three-time national champion, winning the outdoor title in 2022, and 2023, and the indoor title in 2023. His personal best is 2.30 metres indoors, set in Třinec in February 2024 and 2.22 metres outdoors, set in August 2023 in , Belgium. Krnov (; , or ''Krnów'') is a town in Bruntál District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 23,000 inhabitants. 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships
The 20th World Athletics Indoor Championships were held from 21 to 23 March 2025 in Nanjing, People's Republic of China, at the newly built Nanjing's Cube gymnasium in the Nanjing Youth Olympic Sports Park. Nanjing was originally due to host the World Athletics Indoor Championships in 2020, then in 2021, and then again in 2023, but all these dates were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic in China, COVID-19 pandemic regulations in China. Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands.
