Jan Müller (born 1967) is a media archive executive and former advertising executive. Early life and education Jan Müller was born in 1967 in Soest, Netherlands, as the son of the chief sound technician at the Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (National Broadcasting Foundation). At age four, Müller and his family moved to the town of Huizen in the Dutch province North Holland, where he grew up and completed primary and secondary education. After graduating the Atheneum (school), atheneum, he studied commercial economics at the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies (University of Applied Sciences for Economics) in Amsterdam. Career After graduation, Müller started a career in the advertising business. Eventually he became general director at the Dutch branch of Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003. The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA), known as ScreenSound Australia from 1999 to 2004, is Australia's audiovisual archive, responsible for developing, preserving, maintaining, promoting, and providing access to a national collection of film, television, sound, radio, video games, new media, and related documents and artefacts. The collection ranges from works created in the late nineteenth century when the recorded sound and film industries were in their infancy, to those made in the present day. Europeana is a web portal created by the European Union containing digitised cultural heritage collections of more than 3,000 institutions across Europe. Soest () is a Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality and town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht (province), Utrecht. It is about west of Amersfoort.
